Emil Otto presents solar flux gels for the first time
Flux gels are generally used for rework and re-soldering. In the past, it was often necessary to use fluxes for manual and rework soldering. However, these contained different activators to those used for series production. Thanks to the uniform activators of the Emil Otto flux gels, cross-reactions that can occur when using different activators from different products can now be avoided. Additionally, the new solar flux gels EO-S-002, -007 and -009 are particularly designed for soldering on tin-copper metallization. “In the production of solar modules, this metallization is becoming more and more important and will replace the previous tin-silver metallization. We at Emil Otto are responding to this and are already offering the ideal product for this development,” explains Markus Geßner, Head of Marketing and Sales at Emil Otto GmbH. “The new flux gels we developed are based on the same activators that we use in the previous solar fluxes SOLAR FLUX-EO-B-002, -007 and -009. This allows us to avoid unintended cross-reactions,” continues Geßner. All gels are non-corrosive flux gels.
